‘All my colleagues are retiring... and I seem to be collecting jobs,’ laughs Dr Dawn Harper when I meet her in the private dining room at Siddington Park. We’re meeting at the luxury retirement village just south of Cirencester, partly because Dawn recently became an ambassador, but mainly because their Orangery restaurant is a fabulous place to meet up and have lunch. It’s open to all and even has a very inviting three-course children’s menu.
